Didn't get much sleep last night...but that does mean that I got up pretty early today and got to see the neighborhood at around 5 a.m. covered in snow. I didn't remember to bring my camera with me when I went to the gym, but I did grab it on my way to work, and got some good pictures in. I'll share two of them with you now....

Kristen's morning: Get up, eat, head to the post office. Find some stranded dude on the side of the road with his SUV in a ditch. Ask him if he needs help. He says he's okay - cell phone and thumbs up - thanks me. I mail my taxes, doll heads, miscellaney. Get gas. Go home. Grab camera. Run around outside taking pictures. Drive to Twin Lakes Rd. Take more pictures. Everything in pictures looks horrible grey. Go home. Deposit camera. Go to work et voila. Sadly I didn't think to bring my camera card into work with me, but no way was I going out in this stuff on these roads with my vehicle accident record and my precious beloved camera. haha.

I was pretty lucky that in DC, there wasn't much fog...but I did miss the sun rising pictures that I got to see on my way back home from the gym. I took some pictures off of the GW parkway as well, but I don't have too much hope for them. Hopefully I'll get to go through them and see if I have any gems later today.
Taxes....I just got the final document I need yesterday. Must start on those!

I dragged colimac out onto the porch in his bathrobe around midnight to watch the snow fall with me. I am generally in favor of quiet fluffy snow when all the roads I need get nicely cleared.
