I grew up around so many dead cities. It's just...strange.

I can't remember the site, but a while back I found tons of photos of dead amusement parks in Japan. These things were active one day and the next- poof. No people. All the dishes and rides and signs and everything else were left. And over the course of the years it turned into an overgrown forest. It was stunning to look at.

In other news, congrats on your engagement! I was going to post on your journal but about a million people beat me to the congrats and I felt I'd just be a bit repetative. You're one helluva a lucky and lovely engaged lady now. :)
