I saw that video of Al Gore (and have posted it in my LJ before), and I completely agree. It almost hurts realizing where we are today and where we could've been.

But my cynicism (which comes and goes) says that it is precisely because he is actually a good person at heart with real concerns for his nation/people, that he is not our President. -.-

And that's also why he won't run in 2008.
