Stacy's voice came over the comm. It wasn't urgent, like those rather scary times before, but it was obvious that she wasn't going to shut up until everyone did what she said ( Read more... )

Lucky that last part wasnt' said aloud, or the ship's resident electrokinetic would be a lot more reluctant to appear at the obs deck.

Nevertheless, Will creeps into the large room, her expression apprehensive and bordering on the "am I in trouble?" Mission's she's used to, but not yet on Stacy.

Will perks up considerably at this. "Really? A planet?"

Off the creepy ship of doom?

See Harper.

See Harper see an Earth-like planet.

See Harper do a mini-happy dance.

Just a mini one, though. After all, he still doesn't know what Stace has planned for them in regards to the planet, but still. Much as he loves space, this boy is still an Earther at heart.

Wrong? Harper's brain had skipped right past 'wrong' to 'OMG PLANET.' Maybe not the smartest thing, but there ya go.

He glances over at Aang. "Don't know. Stace isn't saying anything yet, but there's a planet involved. Can't be that bad, right?"

88% water. That's a lot of opportunity for surfing.

Eden, Cheetor and Seymour reporting for duty!

Cheetor strides in, in beast mode (as usual), an extra spring in his step. Because the missions that are announced generally don't lead to Silent Hill levels of creepiness. Yay!

Eden arrives, sweating lightly from a recent workout. She takes this opportunity to finish her cool-down stretches as she looks over the screen. "Ooo, normoxic - my favourite kind of concentration!" she comments to no one in particular.

Seymour shuffles in, scratching at his beard, looking very much like he doesn't want to be here right now. He leans against the first available surface.

Martine, being the generally obediant girl she is, went to obs deck promptly and spent the time before Seymour shuffled in making sure Alessa was present, half watching the door, and being baffled by the screen.

She can now stop watching the door, and move onto watching Seymour.

"Stacy seems anxious to have us here," she says, leaning next to Seymour and slipping her battered hands into her apron pockets.

"Mmmhmm."

It takes Seymour a moment to remember to be helpful.

"'Cuz we're going to this...planet. I think."

Martine half closes her eyes.

"Planet," she repeats "Like we're all from. How are we going there?"

She missed grade school science along with the rest of grade school. Along with the concept of grade school.

Pat hurried to the Obs Deck, frowning at the image on the screen. Toxin's attention was on the screen as well, and the symbiote extended and idly snapped a few tendrils .

A planet? So does that mean we get to get outta here or what?

"Probably? I don't know why she would bother telling us about it otherwise."

Maybe she's just messing with us.

"I hope not," Pat muttered, and returned to frowning at the screen.

"The shore leave part sounds all right-but I'm not sure about the 'mission' thing."

Toxin, meanwhile, perked up at the idea. If it means I get to do something besides just walk around, I ain't complaining.

Max, who was napping, wanders in with a large yawn.

"Stacy, baby, we gotta have a conversation about wake-up calls some time - woah."

This is the point at which Max catches sight of the very impressive hologram, and trots up for a closer look.

"Interesting. A planet."

Norm's always been one for the obvious statements.

Most of the information is lost on him though.
