Not being allowed into the city doesn't mean that one can't enjoy the fact there happens to be an outdoors that one can enjoy. Pat can be found near the ship, idly looking around and watching for anything interesting, simply happy to spend some time off the ship. Toxin isn't nearly so relaxed, though-the symbiote has popped out his 'head', and is

"Hey Pat!" Eden greets as she walks out of the city gates. "And Tox!" she remembers to add.

Both Pat and Toxin turn at the greeting, and Toxin extends a tendril to wave at her. Pat settles for nodding a greeting. "Hey, Eden. Did we miss much in there? It's been pretty quiet out here." He pauses to give Toxin a look before glancing back to her. "For the most part, anyway."

Toxin just narrows his eye patches and concentrates on gnawing on the stick.

"I'm guessing the fact that nobody's come out screaming and running yet is a good sign."

"No screaming and running - they're all very peaceful. I'm just stopping in to get some money for our marriage pilgrimage up the mountain."

She wants to see the look on Pat's face. Should be funny.

And sure enough, Eden is rewarded from a rather baffled, somewhat bugeyed look from Pat. Toxin just manages to look thoughtful, even with a stick hanging out of his mouth.
