Kellen Riley Hildebrand
my son is here!!!!! he was born june 5th at 6:35 p.m. he is 8 pounds 15 ounces and 20 1/4 inches long. he is the toughest, sweetest little thing i was ever blessed to see. he has already had his first heart procedure and is doing really well. we have to wait to find out when we actually get to take him home, and whether or not he will need more ( Read more... ) -
first off, i want to thank everyone for the well wishes and good juju sent for kellen, sean and i. it means alot. we went to philly again on thursday night to stay over before a long day at the hospital. we were there for 9 hours! i will save everyone the day's entire itinerary, but basically the baby is healthy besides the aortic stenosis. he is 9 ( Read more... ) -

the last few days have been, well, heartbreaking. there are no other words for it. monday i went in for an ultrasound on the baby because my doctor thought i was not gaining enough weight during my pregnancy. he wanted to just check and see if the baby was growing properly. well an entirely different issue was brought to our attention. something is ( Read more... ) -

i had my first of 3 baby showers today. kellen got a poo load of stuff. i have no idea where i am going to fit 2 more shower's worth of stuff. it has taken 4 super-loads of laundry just to wash all his clothes, receiving blankets, washcloths and hooded towels between what we or my mother have bought, or stuff from the shower. when all is said and ( Read more... ) -

lead off walk in the bottom of the eighth
my due date has been pushed back up to june 6th. for anyone paying attention it was june 17th. i've had two conflicting ultrasounds and the doctor is now siding with the 6th. i am due in 7 weeks. just so incredibly fast this is all going. i don't start maternity leave until june 1st. haha, talk about cutting it close! i suspect i am going to go ( Read more... ) -
You see it's like a portmanteau - there are two meanings packed up into one word...
