I forgot to say anything about my trip to Portland and the Stumptown Comics Fest. I have tons of photos (that I still haven't uploaded) and tons of drawings (that I don't want to show cause they're quite embarrassing).. instead, I'll just say this- the Fest was awesome and here's a picture of Julia Wertz drawing a penis on my forehead.

I've had an incredible two weeks. Philip's been living with Laurie and I and my sketchbook is full of drawings of the three of us eating "fro-yo" everyday and playing basketball in our matching shorts and making dinner.

I have an entire week off of work starting today. I know you're probably dying to hang out with me...so don't be a stranger- call me, invite me to your parties, take me out for lunch, come over and watch VHS tapes with me, let's have an adventure and drive to Duchesne? Whatever.

Laurie came back from NY last night. She brought some great books home for me. Holy Moly by Leah Hayes, Perfect Example by John Porcellino, and Fart Party by Julia Wertz (<---I have a huge girl-nerd-crush on her right now).
