Okay this may seem strange, but I saw a post you did on overstim's LJ, and then I got here. It was a post about getting older and wishing for other things. I guess that's what got me interested. Also you mention your poems. I'm what you might call a frustrated filmmaker. I dabble in photography too, and am a media technician by trade. Just wanted to comment here, and say hello, and tell you that what you are experiencing is not bad. But DON'T give up on the poetry. We have so few poets in America. Do it for YOURSELF. If you do it long enough you'll get noticed. That's all I have to say. I'd love to read one of you're poems someday. Peace!

thank you so much! i try very hard not to get discouraged about it but it's hard. i really do need to get back into the habit of writing. at this point, a totally crappy poem would be amazing. we shall see. i think art and creation are going to stay with me, even if they take a backseat. i'm not too worried.
