I'm definitely interested in being a part of your new community, but it seems a little premature to advertise the site before you can even show us the URL.
This sounds like a resource for patents of trans kids, not trans parents. It's great to connect adult trans people with people patenting trans kids, but that's about trans adults being a resource, not about a resource for trans people patenting.
Yeah, at first glance, that was my initial thought, too.
But then the last line says "We want to encourage trans parents and the families and carers of gender non-conforming young people to reach out to one another, trade their own resources, share their stories and realise they are not alone."
So, uh, yeah, some clarification would be appreciated.
The issues facing trans parents and the parents of trans kids are very different, there's certainly some common ground, but it's a mistake to assume these groups' interests are completely aligned.
In addition, my experience has been that adult trans people in general, but especially trans parents are often drawn upon to serve as a resource to parents of trans kids in a way that has generally gone unacknowledged by parents of trans kids.
