I didn't post about the project yesterday, because I felt like crap all day, and it didn't go as planned.  I did get 7 sets of starter boards cut up - this is important so the end seems don't all end up at the same place.  I did pick up and install all the switch covers and wall plates and I did rent the tools.  However the floor installing didn’t ( Read more... )

For those of you following my remodel progress... just finished painting the first coat of the second color.... yeah that’s right what took Matt and I under 2 hrs to do last night took me over 4 hrs to do... its so much better to have help and more fun... but alas some people have to work ( Read more... )

so the walls got washed and primed and the baseboards removed and we even got a first coat of one of the colors up last night before collapsing in a heap on the bed. today is the my first day of unemployment in 2007! Ok so it's only 5 days of unemployment, but I have a lot to get done in that time. Don's wedding will be an evening affair - so I'm wondering what do I wear to such an event? So naturally I consult with the best-dressed guy I know - Nick. He suggests a nice "little black dress" in a perhaps a merlot - something I can wear to all the holiday parties. To which I knowingly laugh and scorn.
