Does it have to be a famous poem or any poem you find?

Hey, Chelsea...if it's any help, and if you're in a bind, you could consider taking any rhyming poem. Then, you can choose what could be the stanza. In Theory II last year, we had to do a similar project. Dr. Barnes gave us the hint of taking any poem, and if we needed a repeating section (such as a chorus) to pick a particular stanza (which has a lot of meaning to the poem) and repeat it. For example, if you wanted it to be slow, I think you could stretch this poem into a song: (by Emily Dickenson)

MY river runs to thee:
Blue sea, wilt welcome me?

My river waits reply.
Oh sea, look graciously!

I ’ll fetch thee brooks
From spotted nooks,-

Say, sea,
Take me!

Then, you could use the first two lines as a chorus, I would think. I don't know. I'm just rambling. Hope this helps a little?
