I wanted to write something about WGT but the first two days after the festival I was depressed about returning to reality and then I was too lazy. I'll still try to post some pics

Oh yes... reality... was particularly harsh on returning from wonderful Germany to the UK - and flying into Luton of all places. Ugh. With all the delightful holidaymakers off to Benidorm or wherever the fuck they go to drink lager, watch Sky Sports and eat egg & chips for a fortnight...
Believe me, I wanted to get straight back on the plane.
I wish you the best with the work... As long as you're pressing on, the beast of your thesis will be becoming less sinister by the day.
German holidaymakers are not better. They drink beer, fight for sunbeds and eat chips and Schnitzel! The English are just a bit louder.
I'll try to press on, I know it will save me lots of stress in the end. I have to start now, now, now!... but you know, the sun is shining and the world outside seems such a wonderful place all of a sudden ;)
From my studying days I seem to remember even the washing up had a certain sublime fascination about it. Our kitchen was always very clean during exam times.
Yes, the weather's nice here too. Ignore it though - it's simply the continuation of the cruel practical joke that means that the most intensive part of the academic year falls just as the dreary grey skies give way to sun and splendour.
But summer will still be there when you're done. :)

I try to avoid it as much as possible (this makes it worse)
