I'm new to this comm and I don't know who to talk to about this. I'm a 22 year old female and I've been questioning myself on things. Like...it'd be easier to be a guy and all that. Wondering what it's like and thinking that it might be easier to find someone. It's...really hard for me to explain. I hope I'm not bothering you with this I just ( Read more... )

Welcome aboard, man. What you're saying makes loads of sense. Relax.

You'll likely get a lot more response in ftm and transgender, FYI. And spend a lot of time at http://community.livejournal.com/ftm/tag/ .

Oh wow. How did I miss all of these when I looked online? ^^; Google failed on me when I looked for these topics and stuff. ^^;
Thank you so very much for all of your help. I'll definitely be sure to look through the links and everything. ^_^

heya :)

First thing you should know is that no one here, or anywhere, can tell you how trans you are. It is a lesson I wish I had learned early on. You will undoubtedly encounter some "I'm more trans then you" snob who will try and tell you that you are "not really trans" or "not trans enough" for any number of reasons.

Ignore them.

Be your type of person, whatever type that may be.

Hey. ^_^
Thank you very much. &hearts
That's what a couple of them tried to do at ftm and it almost scared me away from there, but I'm holding my own and not letting them get to me. ^_^

a couple years ago I had a few try and tell me I wasn't really trans because I was too fat, then a half dozen posts later they said I couldn't really be trans because I was too athletic and skinny. At that point I just quoted both lines in the same reply and they pretty much got laughed off the forum.

We have enough dang trouble with gatekeepers, we don't need em in our own spaces.

Are you serious? That's just...dumb. X_X That's just as bad as the anons that run around bashing people for weeks or months on end to make themselves feel better. X_X
This is too true.

first off I can not say if your transexual. You may certainly be trans but trans is diverse. You can be a butch woman and be trans, you can do drag and be trans. being trans is your own self definition ( ... )

I've dressed as a guy every day since I was 15. ^^;
I've also tried talking with a lower tone of voice every now and then in private.
I was gonna say more, but I forgot what I was gonna say. T_T

ok that definitely puts a different spin on things

How do you feel about your chest?

There's not much to say about my chest, as I'm extremely small-chested. X_X The only time I really notice having them is if I have to jump for whatever reason and it's very annoying. >_< Other than that, they're pretty non-existent (to me at least), as 98-99% of the time, I can get away without wearing a bra.
