Oh man, that stinks Stephen. I'm sorry. But as much as it sucks, I don't think you can abandon that account. The seller would get really mad if you just disappeared and it could end up being this big battle. I would e-mail/contact the seller, explain the mistake, and ask them to file an Unpaid Item Dispute, where you both mutually withdraw from the whole thing. Then he can put his item back on the market and you save $70 and your eBay dignity.
