what if it had said "daily"? you'd have probably ticked "6-15", yes? i know i would've. that's way scarier than 26+ a week.

Yeah. Daily is probably more in the 12-18 hour range, so I would've had a hard time picking.

Andrea needs to go outside.

I've seen surveys that ask "more than 40." THAT gives me pause.

Outside is overrated. There's murderers and skin cancer and shit out there.

I always find these questions on surveys kind of naive. "More than 26"? I'm a researcher. I spend my entire workday doing research on the Internet. So...that doesn't really say anything about my media consumption habits, unless they ask what percentage I'm actually screwing around on people's blogs rather than, you know, working.

I agree. I spend an awful lot of time online, but around 40 hours of it each week are work-related. Ostensibly.

not really, especially since i have the internet open at work all the time and use it about 37 hours a week just for work email, reference, and putzing.

but yeah, i guess when i see the number out there like that, it's a little shocking.

i dream of a day when this question is irrelevant due to the fiber optics drilled directly into my brain.
