I've been back for a couple of weeks. Been really busy getting a new place to live. It looks nice. I like it a lot.

Two more weeks of stand-down. It's going to go by too fast.

I'll be home in a couple of weeks, which I'm not looking forward to as much as I thought I would. Nothing to get back to, really.

Christmas was alright. I went to a couple of bars and just chilled. Nothing was really open, but I expected that.

Off to protect freedom.

So, I'm in Bahrain, an island kingdom off the coast of Saudi Arabia. And if I lived here, I would move. It is hot as balls here. Yesterday, I said," You know, if it were only 90 out, it wouldn't be so bad." That's because it's anywhere from 110-130 out, and humid as hell ( Read more... )

I'm in Chania, Crete. It's not a bad place, over-all. It's very, very touristy, though. There are shops and resturants everywhere. If I was able to get into the surrounding county-side, this place would be way better. I could go to ruins, for one. For another, I could see something besides the town ( Read more... )
