Stole this meme from mizzy2k... My fic folder is semi-organized.  A couple months ago I got tired of hunting for files I knew were there but I just couldn't see, so I made a separate folder for finished fics, and a separate one for when they get published.  Much easier to keep track of now.

The stately Chanticleer View Point Inn stood proud on the crest of the plunging cliff, looking down on the Columbia River Gorge below. The historic building served as a restaurant with a small bed & breakfast and hosted a number of weddings.

It was a quiet Sunday morning in the town of Gage, Oregon and the inn was crowded with patrons eager for Sunday brunch...

Ooo! :-) This sounds like somewhere I'd wanna go! And it sounds like somewhere Sophie would be at home. A small town bed and breakfast? Bet Eliot would take a girlfriend there for a weekend date. Now I wanna read the fic. Have you started posting it yet?

Thank you! No, I haven't, and I only have a few more sentences in addition to what I posted above. With AoH and the Leverage Exchange, it's kind of on the back burner right now.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? The inn is actually a real place - it's about three miles from my house. It's no longer open due to a fire that badly damaged it. If you're into Twilight, a scene was filmed there, too...
