thanks! i think moving away from larger canvases and down to more life-sized little ones has made a huge difference in how i paint and how the paintings turn out.
My husband and I watched this painting progress on your Blogspot page and I have to tell you that he kept saying "Wow. WOW. That is so RAD. Can we buy it? Can you ask her to do one for us?"
Which is pretty high praise, coming from a culture snob. Love it!
thanks, that's a pretty big compliment :) i had to stop posting it on the blog so as not to ruin the surprise for my dad. it was hard, because i really like keeping track of progress there. for some reason i still can't handle the idea of selling paintings. i guess i just get too attached to them and feel like there are too many people i should make one for before going on to that. but the closer to broke i get the more i consider it...
