Basically, anything that is available in the squad listing (grenades, weapons...) don't count towards that 50 pts. Unfortunately, a lot of armies have to buy a lot of weapons from the armoury.
Ok, so what you're saying, is like, "default" equipment like the normal kind of grenades Fire Dragons would have doesn't count towards this 50pts, but if we upgraded the grenades at the cost of, I think, 2pts per model, that would come out of the 50pts? And if we changed the equipments on the exarchs?
... Will have to do some thinking then. What about on our Farseer and Warlock, where they don't come with any standard gear? And if we wanted to mount them on Jetbikes? (Which will be quite the stunt, mind you...)
From the 40k In a Flash rules: 1. You must have at least one Troops choice.
Does that override the usual "You must have at least 2 troops choices"?
2. No vehicles with a total points value greater than 200 (unless you control a territory that gives you access to larger vehicles).How about "No single model may cost more than 200

Oh, by the way, the tags for formatting are single letters put between the "Less than" and "Greater than" signs (often referred to these days as "Open Tag" and "Close Tag"). LJ likes to try to start auto-formatting those so I couldn't put them in here alone.
The letters are nice and simple to remember. Bold is "b", Underline is "u", Italic is "i", Strike is "strike", actually, I think. I don't know if just "s" works for that.
To stop the formatting, the tag would read <*/u*> ... without the *'s.. I hope that's visible.
