its all field gear (i live in polo shirts and boardies with crocs when i'm working cos they're all quick dry/cover up/practical/comfortable)
I have a whole separate wardrobe pretty much thats for fieldwork so whether its mountain stuff so i have hiking boots and heavy duty pants and light-weight collared shirts and fleeces or its the reef stuff with rash shirts and wetty and reef boots...it only gets to come out of the closet on those occassions but i find it invaluable when i need it XD
...it is still all black but..mwahahaha

I'm not heavily alternative in my style anyway, so I tend to get away with wearing what I usually would.
Now our recent visit to the NT - that was all shorts and t-shirts. Because its just too freaking hot. Though I think you can still dress for the weather and be stylish if you have the right clothing. I wore cute little retro shorts and shirts or singlets. I think the truckers arm I have from the drive to Cape Arnhem is still the worst fashion disaster I have experienced ;)
