Oh my gosh! If I were in Denton I'd totally be there...and I love that idea, it has been added to my "multiplication" file. If you need any other tricks or lessons let me know...we just started that when I left student teaching

actually i could use your help! do you know any more math tricks or memory aids to help kids learn their multiplication tables? next week i was thinking of making a math "tool box" where we could decorate a shoe box. then place things or pictures of things that help with math like a glove to represent counting on fingers, or a picture of a bowling ball to represent that game, flash cards, extra erasers, you know anything. i was even thinking that she write down encouraging words and put them in there because suffers from nerves and social issues. i'd be greatful for ANYTHING you could suggest!
