How the hell am I getting rain when it's freaking 25 degrees out? the nice powdery snow now has a ice crust on top of it.

I layered my clothing this morning. Long johns under my pants, pull over under my jacket, regular socks under wool socks, with my boots on. Oh and gloves, and a scarf. I was pretty warm except my toes. Wonder if they make little electric toe warmers.
