It's been a good day today. wetbird is here visiting and she is a wonderful distraction from my usual routine. She and gossg can talk and talk about anything and everything and I like to listen to them until I don't understand the science any further. She also helped us decide some things, but more on that in a moment

Your productive day made me cry while I was talking to a customer. Serves me right for reading LJ while "working". =)

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. You've gotten several platefuls cleared away already, and being your usual organized self I'm sure many more will be processed as things and days proceed. But know this, in your heart as well as your mind - if something happens before you get to the bottom of your checklists, or something obscure comes up that never occured to you to put on the list in the first place, gossg, klashville, TravelMom, and the rest of 'em will *NOT* be left to flounder. We'll be behind them (or beside, as appropriate) every step of the way.

i've said this over and over, but my mind seriously cannot comprehend how calmly and rationally you and greg are taking all of this. i think i would shut down completely. i really admire your strength, and i can't wait to see you again.
