This location should either be relatively generic (a favorite coffee spot) or be related to you in some way. Please don't request someone else's house.

Can I ask why there's a restriction on asking for other people's houses? Because of the nature of the AU he's from, the location that I think is most traumatic thematic for this character is his best friend's uncle's mansion. I'll think of another one if that's really not allowed, but I thought I'd check.

Specifically, that was added because a player asked for the house of a character who had already been accepted and we realized it could be problematic for someone to have their house as a location 'taken' before they get there for all manner of reasons.

We're not completely hardset opposed to it? But we'd generally prefer it. We're willing to bend for good reason, but we don't think it's a good policy to have out generally. So if you'd like the character's best friend's uncle's mansion, could you PM this account with your reasoning?

Thanks!

I'm assuming (but I want to check!) that there can be more than one version of a canon character (just different AUs?)

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought that meant: can I, personally, have more than one version of a single character. Sorry!

If you're talking about Who I think you're talking about *g*, you're welcome to app up to TWO regenerations of the Doctor. The Doctor is considered a different pup per actor since, well, if they can be on screen with one another, argue with one another, and look/act completely different with one another, I figure they should each be given the care and consideration of an individual character.

...if it's someone else, just lemme know and we'll discuss it.
