I can haz new camera!
Ever since Xinjiang last year and the incident of the Guava Juice of Great Evil, my camera shutters have not been able to fully close nor open any quicker than a snail on sedatives trying to run the hundred meter dash. It also had focus-issues, apparently trying to compensate for my glasses by obligingly giving all my subjects an extra bit of blur.

I have been fighting with powerpoint at work for most of the day, trying to get something to look somewhat professional for the headmasters course tomorrow. Have I mentioned I detest working with powerpoint? It kills me.

O cruel, heartless Shanghai weather...
Siiick. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. God, it's that time of year here when the temps keep leaping up and down like a Mexican jumping bean and plays havoc with your system. Everyone is sick. I visited 10 teachers last week and every last one of them was hacking, coughing, sneezing and sniffling. I know I picked up this cold from one of them. If only I knew ( Read more... )
