when I was very little, like Kindergarten, I loved all that stuff. My favorite was the Twin Stars, but I had a fair amount of Hello Kitty stuff, too. I'm not sure the appeal, but I think I like the bright colors of the actual objects and that the kitty was cute. I remember writing whole story in my head about the Twin Stars and Hello Kitty. I also think I liked the toys themeselves, like the blank pads of paper and the stickers and all that stuff. I live(d) in a very small town with only two tiny stores. One was just a gift shop and one was a five-and-dime. And the gift store sold that Hello Kitty stuff very cheap, so I'd pick them out as a special treat once a week when my dad picked me up from school. but my experience is different, and I also don't understand the craze part of it.
