Oh. This is GORGEOUS. *squee* I, seriously, LOVED it. The silence between them, the intensity of the emotions, Spencer's unrequited longing for something more, Hotch's realization, and their "togetherness" at the end. Oh pure joy!

One minor typo that I caught: "He leans forward against and presses their upper bodies together..." I think "against" is supposed to be "again".

But, seriously, I loved the emotions here. Oh, and the hotness of the sex too. ;-)

Btw, yes, I am still working on the Epic Crossover. I've hit a bit of a wall due to RL time constraints (which is why I say I write slowly), but I hope to do some more writing this weekend on it. (I've actually written Hotch and Reid presenting the profile of Jack the Ripper -- that was kind of fun in an odd, macabre sort of way).

ETA: Any idea why your posts don't show up on my flist? It's pretty annoying, since I didn't see any of your prior posts (and yes, MGG's hair is delicious and Hotch's 'boy band' reaction was made of awesome).

Seriously, my LJ is made of fail. Apparently this is some sort of common thing, but if you (re)friend me it should fix it (I think). I have no idea what happened, BUT Reid with short hair and Hotch with awesome reaction-ness is made of win.

And thanks for the feedback- porn is so totally not my thing, usually, but I was at the library and procrastinating and instead of anything useful in the real world this is what I came up with.

I was listening to Bad Romance the entire time I read this and laughed at myself for being such a normal Fangirl.

Really, I didn't find it too ooc [Some out there have Hotch riding a Unicorn, I swear it; People don't realize that it's not gonna be happy-go-lucky]

I think what added to make it so real was the fact that at first, Hotch always left and in the end when Reid said 'I thought you knew'

Because in reality Hotch will probably be a bastard without meaning to be and Reid is way too trusting even after the Hankel Case.

The sex was scorching but the emotions behind it (and after) were breathtaking. Your Hotch and Reid seem to always have this warmth and brightness about them. I don't know how you've managed that without turning things sappy. Thanks for the smile. &hearts

when i started this it was SUPPOSED TO BE ANGSTY and filled with UNRESOLVED TENSION, but apparently i am physically incapable of writing such a story. so instead the porn (my exercise in writing smut because, as you may have noticed, i *never* do) turned out to be hotch and reid with a (semi) happy ending.

but i am glad that it made you smile, because that just reminds me that hotch and reid are super awesome and deserve to be happy and together :)
