I just watched the original movie this past week, as a matter of fact. (Yeah, yeah, always late to the party...) My reaction was along the lines of "Huh." But I'll definitely watch this one, just because, you know, Sherlock Holmes. And Stephen Fry.

I know! I was not really thrilled with the movie--I thought it was a whole lot of CGI and action at the expense of character development--but I'll enjoy Stephen Fry in pretty much anything.

I only watched the film this summer, and I'm more excited about this than the BBC version returning.

Well, according to the article, the movie won't be out until December of 2011, which is depressing, but still. Fry! \o/
