I wasn't criticizing the Doctor, just thinking about in terms of parallels. Like in "Amy's Choice", where the Dream Lord was a warped and distorted reflection of the Doctor.
I have to admit, though, I did wonder if the thought would cross the TARDIS' mind, about it being a bit Frankestein-ish. Not saying that I see it that way, just wondering if she would.
Doesn't it rather draw a parallel between the Doctor and the TARDIS herself, both the last of their kind?
The TARDIS graveyard contains their remains, their "souls" have already been destroyed. When House extracted the spare parts to patch up his pets those he took them from may have still been alive. Idris certainly was before she was "erased" to make room for the TARDIS consciousness.
Kind of draws a parallel between House and the TARDIS, when you think of it. House was the only one of his kind that we know of, certainly the only one in that "bubble" universe. He was able to move his consciousness around and take over the body of the TARDIS; basically, he stole a couple of companions and ran away to see the world--or destroy it for his own purposes, whichever.
