I'm actually glad I'm kind of detached from the show right now. It's gone from a passion to an enjoyment that sometimes isn't so enjoyable. Which is fine, because we know how I get about the fandoms that ARE passions and it's not always pretty. I think if I were heavily invested right now, I'd be driving myself bonkers. As it is, I've got some major squick going on about the end of the episode and various other things that have happened this season, but I'm mostly content to find out what the hell Moff has up his sleeve.

There's also a bit of magical thinking going on that if I chill out and let Moff play his silly reindeer games with Amy and the baby and whatever, that he will eventually give me what I want, which is Jack Harkness back on the TARDIS, even if it's just for a flirty cameo.
