I watched an episode of Supernatural last night (from the DVDs lent to me by a friend). It was a pretty good story about werewolves. Unfortunately today the Supernatural-verse facts set out in that episode have worked over by my brain and, while I've been consciously entirely occupied by other stuff, it has reported back to me that werewolves don't

I don't have a mathematics degree, and I pondered consciously how werewolves could possibly work. I assumed there must be other factors at play that weren't mentioned.
