You gotta think outside the box

So my professor posted this problem in our class today that I spent a good amount of time with trying to figure out. It's that connect all nine dots with four lines without picking up your pen problem. I spent a huge amount of time trying to figure it out. "Whatever. I didn't want to be a manager any damn way."

LOL, are you five today???

You need to stay at the job you're in longer. People want to know they can count on you and that you won't go looking for another job as soon as they hire/promote you. I know you want to move up, but it takes time and experience. Be willing to do anything in the job you're currently in and wait on the promotion for a while.

I'm not planning on looking for something else after they promote me. I love it there at YB. I don't want to leave. I just thought it was a good opportunity and considering how desperate they portrayed themselves to be and the lack of interest that I heard from the floor, I felt it was a good idea to step up.

I wasn't bitching. And even if I was, it's my journal. "Whateva! I do what I want!" Five points if you know where that's from. ;-)

What I was discouraged about was it took them a month to tell me this. If they've felt this way all along they could have told me when the position closed 3 weeks ago.

" I guess they want someone with more call center experience. Whatever. I didn't want to be a manager any damn way."

Perhaps they are looking for someone with managerial experience in order to manage time, people and the office in a cost efficient and experienced way.

Did I forget to mention that I've worked in call centers over the last 3 years and I have at least a year of managerial experience?
