so I was randomly looking at the carrboro elementary website, and i can't believe how many teachers I don't recognize. in fact, there were only a few that I do. mrs. grose is still there, so is mrs. mcfarling. but, most importantly, mrs. cantrell and mr. gilmore (the p.e. teacher) are still there. amazing

I lived there back in 96ish. I worked at the Great Harvest. Shit. What street did we live on? Can't remember. Do you know a girl named Sarah Nederheiser? I dunno why I thought you might, she's about 27 now.

That woman drove me crazy at the time. I dropped out of Chorus just to be a rebel. But looking back, the Cantrell was quite hilarious. Ah, Carrboro, how I miss thee...

mrs. cantrell!! oh man, she was so amusing. everyone was totally scared of her. remember when she took down her bun one time and it was totally the talk of the playground for weeks "I can't believe we actually saw her with something other than that bun..."

I LOVED Mrs. Cantrell, she's totally one of my favorite teachers ever and she never scared me because I was a good kid so she was always nice to me. I remember seeing her a few years ago when Gelly went to carrboro and she still remembered me!! So exciting.
