Just the other day I was listening to some morning FM radio show at work and they were talking about brokeback mountain, and the guy was saying how people in mass don't have to face shit like that anymore. god I hate it when people say that b/c it's SO NOT TRUE and then

Oh my god.... that is absolutely terrifying. I am pissed off at the writer of this column actually for ending on the quote, "If all bars were this quiet, it'd be great." What a poorly placed quote and SUCH a bad note to end this article on. I am appalled at such sloppy journalism... is it just me? I think not.

actually, I think that quote makes sense. it shows that where the attack took place, there was nothing that anybody could imagine would have caused this person to do this other than just hate, because I'm sure some of the people who read this article are going to be like "I bet guys were fucking or causing trouble with this guy."

Ok... I get that. I know what the quote is meanign and why it was in the article. I just think that it is not well placed in the article. If you end on that note, I feel like its making light of the situation or something. I don't know. Thats just what I got from it.
