did you get my text today?

at work this guy had to book time to use one of the studios.. he was your african american twin! i was like jezsue! he even had your type of sneakers, but different colors. he was wearing a weird sweater and was carrying a sweater hoodie. with a sweater like messager bag. he was really light skinned.. like a shade darker than me. he had short brown hair that was super curly. but i need to take a picture of this fool because he knocked my socks off.

You're not talking about that We Are the World nonsense, are you? At the same assembly thing, I also remember getting sucked into the group of kids that had to play the some song on the recorder. I think it might have been the Old North State, our wonderful state song.

god, there's no other time in anyone's life when it makes sense to play anything on the recorder, other than in elementary school. nah, it wasn't specifically we are the world, although it's possible that we sang that. I can't remember specific things we sang. god elementary school was so odd. I'm hoping meg reads this entry, i'm counting on her to remember this thing.

I do remember this thing...but sadly...I can't think of the name of it. Creative movement was awesome...as was that science class we had with the weird dude with the cool house and long hair...what was his name? YAY for hippie elementary schools. Every child should have such an upbringing.

Sorry to be slow.

nah, unless they did it again randomly, that was the thing where everyone held hands. it was in 1986, and we weren't in school yet.
