"This is delicious Watanuki-kun!"
"Awww... Himawari-chan, so is yours!" he said with absolute delight in his voice, "You always pick out the best lunches!"
She smiled after hearing this. "Actually, I made this. My mother helped me make this for you and Doumeki-kun." she said nervously. "I hope that is alright!"
She didn't know what to think. She could tell he was surprised, and she hoped he really did like it. For she had tried her best to make this especially for him.
"Really Himawari-chan? You made this?!" he said in a excited voice. "Wow, it really is delicious." he said this with a small smile that she couldn't help but notice, which made her chest squeeze with delight.
"You really think so?"
"Yes, it's one of the best things I have ever eaten!" he said with absolute certainty. "You and your mother are both wonderful cooks, Himawari-chan."
"Watanuki-kun."
"Yes, Himawari-chan?"
"I was wondering... if it isn't too much to ask... if you could show me some recipes and everything?" she said in a urgent voice, her eyes wide with anticipation. "I mean, I've always admired your cooking and Doumeki-kun also loves your cooking also and I wanted to able to make some of our lunches too." She could feel her heart beat nervously, scared that she said too much or that she would annoy him with her request.
"Ah, really?" he said, a blush covering his cheeks. "You want to learn to cook from me Himawari-chan?" he looked like he was still trying to process her request.
"Well, if you want to." she said softly, "I mean I DO understand if you don't want to and everything..." "Ah! It was so stupid for me to ask this of you Watanuki-kin, I'm so sorry!" She felt so stupid that she asked him. Who knew what would happen if he did! Just one touch....
"That's not it Himawari-chan." he said breaking her thought, "I would love to teach you how to cook! It would be my honor to do so." he said in a strong and determined voice, smiling at her like nothing was wrong and that nothing had happened.
"Really?" she said. "Even after everything that has happened?"
"Yes, even after that Himawari-chan."
"Thank you, Watanuki-kun!" she said with a smile bursting onto her lips, "Thank you so much! I'll be sure to do my best and everything!"
All he could do was smile and watch as Tanpopo hopped around enjoying the food too.
