So, I've been posting on tumblr how excited I was about the Mortal Instruments movie and, like, reccommending the books and now I find out that the author was some BNF in Harry Potter fandom who was a total jerk and plagerist

Yeah, I remember when my friend Maddie was all 'you need to read The Draco Trilogy', it's so good!' and I googled it and the first thing I found was that she plagiarized heaps of it. And the second thing I found out was that she was now a popular author. Needless to say, I definitely won't spend money on her books and movies.
