I went to the cheap-ass grocery store for kitty litter and baking powder, and ended up accidentally shopping! ^_^ They had pears, which I need for a recipe I've been dying to try, so I got what I needed for that, and of course I had to get a rat for Kaa, so I went to the pet store. Snagged a new collar for Shinra, too, since he tore up his last one

She'll get used to her jingle bell then she'll feel nekkid without it. Elvie has one and she looks confused now when I take her collar off. Plus, you can hear when they get into things, and which kitty just did something they shouldn't....like knock over the container of treats, get the lid off, and eat 10 days worth....

He kept getting his last one off and playing with it. I hope he'll get used to the bell soon, that's the only part that seems to bug him. I find it super useful so far, I can always tell what he's up to. ^_^ It was scary yesterday, though. He got his collar stuck in his mouth, and couldn't get it off himself. Kirk was over, thank goodness, and we held him still and got it off. Poor little Shinra clawed his paws up pretty good. I'm pretty sure that that experience is enough to keep him from messing with it, though.

You will THINK that that experience will be enough to make him think twice, but OH NO. Phoenix has gotten her collar caught in her mouth so many times I've lost count, and she's on her second no-collar stretch for a little while because we're afraid she'll do it again while we're not home to save her.

But then again, maybe your cat is not an idiot. ;P
