yesterday's storm

So yesterday, an arashi (Tropical Storm Ondoy to be exact) came and left most of Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon under water.

I was surprised that the damage left by Ondoy was this big. I was supposed to go to a friend's birthday yesterday but my mom didn't allowed me to go to Manila bcoz the flood in Manila is really bad and she's stranded.

Everything's okay here. Unfortunately, some parts of Pasig and Marikina are still under water. Let's just pray for them.

It's truly terrifying. My fellow countrymen weren't as lucky though. Many people's homes were damaged because of the flood. In some places it left a thick layer of mud on everything. And until now I hear news about people still stuck in their flooded homes. *_* It's really heartbreaking.

Camry, it's good to know that you're safe. But, the flood got into your house too? I hope it didn't leave too much damage. Seeing pictures and videos of the floods give me goosebumps and makes me realize how lucky me and my family was to be under a roof, staying dry and no flood in our house. (well, except for some leaks...)

Yup it got in, pero nawala din after a few hours. Ang damage lang ay yun screendoor (pic above), pero aside from that, okay naman ang lahat ng gamit.

Ako din sobrang naaawa dun sa mga sobrang naapektuhan. Hay...
