True Accomplishments

Science fiction writers have accomplished so much. Where would we be without powdered-sugar doughnuts or Pringles potato chips?

Heh. Am currently reading "The Skylark of Space." Maybe I'll follow it up with "Home Fires". But probably not.

I recently realized I've never read anything by Dr. Doughnut. His books just weren't around (on Roses' book-racks or at the libraries) when I was growing up. I did once see a copy of Spacehounds of IPC in one of my studyhalls, but when I glanced through it I was bored and put it aside. It's probably just too late now, and anyway I still haven't read Proust.
