Stritch's esteemed Peter Christensen passed away. Appearently it was something with his heart. Appearently it was sudden. Peter was one of the few professors to really challenge me. I remember feeling a mix of excitement and dread when i registered for Shakespeare's Histories class. I remember hearing what a difficult professor he was. And ( Read more... )

Gah. Now I'm all bleary eyed. Jackie, I think Professor Christensen would have been really happy to see you write that stuff. I think Shelly had said that the wake was going to be the 25th or something. I'm definitely going to try and make it. No, screw that. I'll be there. I should probably take off work now.
