Not too much has been going on around here.  Last weekend we went to Art and April's for a bbq, which was fun and relaxing.  They live across the bridge in Westside, so it was about an hour's drive.  Their 2 year old, Lena, is a real handful, but she's a good kid.  We also got to see their new son John Travis (they call him JT), who is now 6 weeks

Tom Cruise scares the crap out of me now. After seeing him act like an idiot one too many times in public in the past month, I'm sadly losing more & more respect for him. What on earth HAPPENED to him?!!

Yeah...who knows WHAT he's thinking. I find that I like his movies more now than I used to though, like he's doing films that are more "mature" or something. BTW...Alfie Zappacosta is going to be playing out your way this summer...I am SO jealous!!

Vanilla Sky is one of my favourites of all time. ;) Alfie was here last year too...I'm not a fan, but I have some friends who went & love him.

GORDIE is going to be in BC this summer! You should check him out if you can. He & Alfie played one after the other last year at a festival, so Gordie just might appeal to you afterall. :)
