Sorry for how gross that must have felt, homie. Big props for trying to deal with it productively and without just throwing the appropriate emotions in the air. I'm sorry he wasn't interested in engaging.

Sorry if I was abstruse! I just meant ukulele is hardly a lele white instrument itself, and the culture that we have to go through to get to it is (by now) indigenous to a place nearby to North America. That's all. I was thinking of getting comfy with an extracted aspect of native Hawai'ian culture, while being so discomfy with Native North Americans.
