I honestly am baffled by the current weather angst. I had an appointment in Columbus--about an hour and a half drive away--this morning. Last night after watching the weather on TV Rita said she didn't think we'd be going to Columbus today. I'd been watching the weather online, text only, and saw nothing worse than "Unpleasantly cold." The TV news, on the other hand, was predicting the next ice age, the heat death of the universe. This morning we woke up, called Columbus to make sure they hadn't succumbed to the hysteria, and drove to the appointment. It was unpleasantly cold, yes.
