The Fairness Doctrine' of 1949, requiring broadcasters to be honest and balanced, was repealed under the conservative deity Reagan in 1985... Faux News launched in 1996 with no requirement to be honest... and they are sticking to that. We need to reinstate 'The Fairness Doctrine' so the lies stop before irreparable damage is done.
