Days before I was to leave, I took a good look at the far end of my itinerary and finally fully realized that I was looking at a 15-hour layover in New York City!
How did you miss-- there were a few things happening in your life at the time, but be thrice-forgiven in light of this wonderful welcome home.
Especially seeing as this is a draft that came through because I completely forgot about setting up that direct feed... I am shocked and honored to be receiving responses other than, "LJ-CUT????" which sure as shooting would have been *my* reaction...
It is, just not always in the directions I've thought I ought to be going. I'm coming out of my latest fog; writing more, picking up my art, interacting. I'd gotten to a point wehre I simply didn't think to call anyone because I was comfortable living in my own head. I got lonely once in a while but it passed. I was content being introverted but it got too be too much. I'm tired of that now. My body's in better shape, I have wheels again, my kids visited. Time to open shop again
( ... )
Hold on to your hat, chevrah, there are more memories to come as fast as I can get them articulated.
Sorry for citing the hot dog stand... that can't have "gone down" well tonight. I'm delighted to hear your daughter is so resilient and hope the atmosphere of your home has, er, cleared.
