That is COMPLETELY terrifying. I will have to read more.

There is a reason why my daughter has never gone to public school, and why we don't have cable.

Yes, although it doesn't say that much that I didn't already know, his tieing it all together in one place, and his demonstration of how cold-bloodedly on purpose it all was has been seriously on my mind this week ( ... )

I went through the California public school system K-12, and I did not do well. I was the rebel, the kid with the questions, the one who asked "Why?" and then when not given an answer I liked refused to participate. Catholic catechism on the weekends didn't help either.

I once called a teacher (in high school) on just following their zombie philosophy to churn out more good American zombie fodder, and I got sent home.

I know what you mean about not being white enough (I got that too) - I certainly wasn't in anyone's eyes.

Were there "good" public schools?, unbelievable! And yes, it will be more of a shock to those folks.
