Ozone and burning rubber

Ozone is nasty stuff. I ran my first experiments with it today, and found that it eats away at the rubber stopper used to hold the ozone line in the test tube, filling my reaction with black chunks of chewed rubber. A rather nasty gas, that. In any case, it seems to be a wonderfully quick way to accomplish what we're trying to
