I've got a really wacky bike I've just built up, and I want to modify it a bit, but I'm not sure if what I want to do will work. I've got some nice bmx hubs that I'm currently using on this bike, and they're 36 hole. I'd like to build some new wheels, but the only rims available of anything even remotely resembling reasonable quality in this size ( Read more... )

i think it'll work as long as the wheel is balanced, or the spokes are spaced evenly. sounds wacky alright.

if by "wacky" you mean RAD TO THE MAX!!!

I think I followed most of that, good luck with that.

How do you have a wheel with only 9 spokes?!

I need to come back and build another bike with ya. or just actually ride the one I have more than once every few months. wow, I just realized it's been 2 years since I've been to Chicago, I need to visit sometime.
