It occurs to me that I should probably talk about Emil, his two personalities, and how I'm playing them in Micro/CFUD. This essay contains spoilers for the whole game, including the Normal and Perfect endings. There is also much tl;dr and two diagrams. You have been warned!

... Wow. I'm going to keep a link to this for future reference. Anyway, hi! My primary reason for commenting is to request a minor bit of clarification on how Emil would ping Delirium. I have a lovely info-gathering meme here, which also contains a link to an essay on what generally pings zany ol' Del. Now normally I wouldn't be too concerned since it's pretty obvious this is a case of Multiple Personalities, buuuuuut... Unlike DID cases like Lucy/Nyuu and Akito/Agito where the base individual developed additional personalities due to physical/emotional trauma and abuse (in which case Del would simply say that she gave them said additional personalities to help them cope, therefore being a very helpful not-person), Emil's cause seems a bit less accredited to the Realm of Sanity and Delirium, over which Delirium has complete control. This is why I'd like some input from you on how to interpret his condition so I don't "do it wrong" should Del ever happen to thread with him ( ... )

Haha, yeah, IT'S COMPLICATED, ISN'T IT. Emil is, bizarrely, pretty sane, I think. He's had his moments, though. Ratatosk Mode has been pretty out of control in the past, to the point where it's just not... healthy. And regular Emil is calmly suicidal for the last chapter of the game (and goes through with his plan to kill himself in the Bad Ending, though I'm not playing from that). In other words, I don't think he'd ping her as much as a "normal" case of DID, since his bits of craziness aren't really... due to the having multiple personalities thing, but she'd probably have some familiarity with him all the same.
